Class 12 - Excellent Academy!! Please maintain the same stellar standards of education which we received at the centre well into the future. Everything is perfect when it comes to math classes at AHEAD. Mr Colaco is a really good teacher who ensures that students understand each concept and lets us in on all the finer points which are mostly not taught in school. There is no scope for further improvement as classes are already excellent. Concepts are clearly explained to the students by Mr Sundaram. The physics classes were really helpful. Chemistry teaching is perfect. Biology classes were very useful and helped fill in the gaps in understanding concepts. The administration of the center is very good. I will definitely recommend AHEAD to anyone

Class 11 and 12 My last year at school was pleasantly and positively tumultuous, not least because I was the Captain of a 150 year old institution, catering to well over 6000 students. Needless to say, striking a balance between my commitments to school and my academics, both of which I greatly prize, was an arduous task, made much easier thanks to Ahead. Having joined Ahead in Standard 11, I had already become familiar with its paradigms of teaching and revision, which had been laid into place by some of the best teachers by whom I have ever been taught. I knew that not being able to attend a multitude of classes while in school (due to captaincy), would not prove to be an impediment to my preparations for my 12th boards, since I could always come to Ahead after school and be brought up to speed with all concepts, and take part in comprehensive revisions and paper-solving classes. This was just one side of the coin though, as Renita Ma’am and Colaco Sir’s detailed notes in Chemistry and Math were supplied to me and other students, so that a 1000 page text book would not be our sole source of information and practice. In fact, as I write this sitting thousands of kilometers away, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, I glance up at my bookshelf and see the files of Renita Ma’am and Robin Sir’s notes, both of which I am still using, even at a college level; a testament to the quality and ease-of-study that these notes have provided me with. Most of my Physics learning took place as I jotted down Sundaram Sir’s exhaustive yet succinct notes in class, which proved to be an extremely valuable resource, especially closer to the exams. The fact that all these teachers were accessible by email and Whatsapp, and the ever-accommodating nature of Mrs. Aiyshia and Mrs. Anita (to both of whom I owe an equal debt of gratitude), went a long way in ensuring that learning and revision didn’t simply take place only in class. Additionally, the mock exams that were conducted closer to the exams served as accurate representations of what our question papers would look like, and receiving corrected answer scripts was possibly the best way of making constructive changes to my pattern of learning and writing. Simply put, Ahead facilitated my goal of completing the portions for the 12th Board Exam by November, with the outcome that once December arrived, I found myself not knowing what to do, as I had completed and revised the syllabus more than once, thanks in no small part to Ahead and its teachers. What followed, apart from a puzzlingly ironic aberration in English, was a best 4 percentage of 98.5, which placed me among the top 1 percentile of students in the country. Thinking back, without Ahead, I would have had much more pressure on my shoulders to maintain a good level of academic proficiency, along with fulfilling commitments to the school, and had I not been a part of Ahead, and not been taught by such supportive and knowledgeable teachers, I doubt that I would have achieved the same results. In a nutshell, I would strongly recommend Ahead to anyone, irrespective of their academic proficiency, and I would go even further and encourage them to join Ahead especially in Standards 11 and 12. Because as the syllabus gets heavier and the stakes get higher, greater academic knowledge and depth is a must. And few institutions impart such knowledge with such ease and comfort, as Ahead.
